Valencia CF sensation Kang In has taken the Under-20s World Cup by storm, and the young talent was the driving force in Korean Republic's quarter final victory over Senegal on Saturday night.
Kang In provided a goal and two assists in a game that ended 3-3 after normal time, before the Asian team progressed on penalties. He scored from the spot in regulation time to take the score to 1-1, as well as sending in a corner for another equaliser by Lee Ji-Sol that forced extra time. The VCF first team member then provided a slide-rule pass for Young Wok-Cho to find the net.
Subbed off in the second half of extra time, Kang In watched on as Korean Republic missed their first two penalties, before putting away the remaining three to win the shootout. They will play Ecuador in the semifinals on Tuesday.
